  • Larry Buckley passed away April 24, 2017. He was born October 29, 1948 in Layton, Utah to Floyd and Doradeen Buckley.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kathleen Buckley.

    He is survived by his wife, Penny Buckley; daughter, Monica M. DeLoach of Gainesville, GA; Niece, Maury Buckley of Ogden, UT; Grandchildren: Aleksandra M. Ferguson of Chattanooga, TN and Torrey DeLoach of Montgomery, AL, who is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force.

    Larry proudly served his country and was awarded the honor of Outstanding Graduate of the U.S. Army – Green Beret. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Larry loved to laugh and always lived life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

    A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Good Samaritan Chapel located at 121 Cortez Road, Hot Springs Village, AR. In lieu of cards and flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society in Larry Buckley’s name.

    Very sorry to hear this news of Larry's passing. Larry was a true comedian and fun to be around, good friend and good boss. We will miss him. Cinda Froman
